Description

Directive Principles of State Policy

Enshrined in Part IV (Articles 36 to 51) of the Constitution of India, the Directive Principles of State Policy are guidelines intended to inform and inspire the government in the formulation of policies that promote social justice, economic welfare, and political democracy. Although they are non-justiciable and cannot be enforced by a court, they serve as fundamental objectives that shape the development of laws and administrative practices.

These principles reflect the aspirations of the framers to create a just society and to ensure that the state acts in a manner that benefits all sections of the community.
