The practical implementation of the Directive Principles remains a work in progress. While these principles are not enforceable in a court of law, they have significantly influenced government policies and legislative reforms aimed at social and economic welfare.
Various committees and commissions have been set up over the years to recommend measures for translating these principles into actionable programs. Despite sporadic successes, the challenge remains to ensure that these aspirational goals are consistently reflected in policy and administration.
