Joint Sitting of Two Houses

A joint sitting is convened by the President under Article 108 when there is a deadlock between the two Houses over a bill. In this session, members of both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha meet together to debate and vote on the legislation.

This constitutional mechanism ensures that legislative impasses can be resolved efficiently while maintaining the balance between the two Houses.
