Henry’s law describes how the solubility of a gas in a liquid is directly proportional to the partial pressure of that gas above the liquid. It can be expressed as C = kH × Pgas, where C is solubility and kH is Henry’s law constant. This law is applied in carbonated beverages, scuba diving (understanding gas solubility in blood), and industrial gas–liquid processes.
